New Year's concert - Tadas Motiečius and the Čiurlionis Quartet
We kindly invite you!
The Čiurlionis Quartet, winner of the national prize, regularly organizes colorful programs with talented young performers.
On New Year's Eve, the Kupiškis Cultural Center will play an upbeat program with rising accordion star Tadus Motiečius - one of the most active accordionists performing in Lithuania and abroad. The artist has won more than 30 competitions in Lithuania, Poland, Latvia, the Czech Republic, Ukraine, Estonia, Italy, France, Croatia, China and elsewhere. He performed in concert halls of Tallinn, Riga, Gdansk, Copenhagen music academies, Finland, Latvia, Estonia, USA, Australia, Central America. He participated in festivals-seminars in Switzerland, Italy, France, Estonia, Latvia, Poland, Finland, a traveling international orchestra project and a concert tour in Europe. Tadas Motiečius also actively plays in innovative chamber, contemporary, jazz and vocal music projects.
