Let's go on an adventure?!
Winter is the most mysterious time of the year, and winter tales are full of magical powers that inspire composers, writers, poets and artists who lived in the past and who are creating today. That's why we started and created our "WINTER'S TALE", in which we will travel through time, with the enchanting sights and sounds of winter, accompanied by the Kaunas wind instrument orchestra "Ažuolynas".
Our tale will begin by turning the wheel of time back 300 years, when the Italian composer Antonio Vivaldi wrote the last bars of the "Winter" part of the "Seasons" cycle. Later, we will fly to Lithuania - where the first snowflakes fall calmly, a snow-covered forest looms in the distance, and a thoughtful Old Man Besmegenis looks at the windows painted with stars by the house. And what's next?
Having gained extraordinary powers and energy, right here we will fly to the Canadian city of Quebec to find out what winter is like there. Maybe like in Lithuania, or maybe colder and more magical? And when the sky closes its eyes to the evening, we will once again glide across the ocean to Lithuania and fall into our own backyard. This is the wonder of winter - to be here and to be everywhere.
How do you like "Winter's Tale"? Let's go on an adventure?! Children - take your parents' hand. Remind them to bring gloves and under no (!) chance to taste crystal winter icicles on this trip…
