Event description
When do the unthinkable become the norm? What is the anatomy of cruelty? Why are we able to treat other people or animals cruelly? What is humanity? When does the abuser suffer more than the victim? These are just some of the questions that arise after reading Jaroslav Melnik's book Masha, or Post-Fascism.
The dystopia - which creates Hitler's dream - depicts a post-fascist society where a part of mankind is transformed into human-like animals called fat people. The main function of fat people is to satisfy human needs, and they are even slaughtered and their meat used in the food industry. The story of the novel revolves around one character, a fat man, and his budding relationship with humans.
