The Vienna Strauss Philharmonic Orchestra will visit Lithuania for the third time in the first half of December 2024, performing in Kaunas (10 December), Klaipėda (12 December) and Vilnius (15 December).
The group will perform a NEW programme of Mozart, Brahms, Haydn, Albinoni, Bach, the brilliant Kalman and, of course, works from the Strauss dynasty.
The conductor of the orchestra is András Deák, a talented, charismatic maestro with a long and successful career.
The special jury selected 27 musicians from all over the world (Austria, Hungary, Japan, Ukraine, Germany, Poland, Taiwan, Croatia, Cyprus) to participate in the tour.
The group's activities are focused on preserving and developing the Viennese musical culture, and on the promotion of it on the European and international level.
Chief Conductor Andras Laszlo Deak, a renowned maestro and conducting genius, will perform two full parts with incredible energy.
András Deák has performed in many renowned concert halls with the world's leading orchestras:
with the Calgary Philharmonic Orchestra (Canada) at Jack Singers Hall (Calgary);
Vancouver's Orpheum Theatre with the Vancouver Opera Orchestra;
at the Kennedy Center in Washington, D.C., with the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra;
in Chicago with the orchestra of the famed Chicago Lyric Opera.
In 2006, András László Deak was invited to the Musikverein in Vienna as conductor of the Vienna Mozart Orchestra and has since become a regular guest conductor of this renowned ensemble.
The organisers hope that this evening will inspire you and give you unforgettable joyful emotions.
