"About fish, ears and mother" is a musical performance with which "Veju Teatras" in 2018 started its activities. The performance features songs based on the poems of Marius Marcinkevičius, and the actors Pijus and Martyna tell a cozy, warm story while playing and singing. Director Eglė Kižaitė combined all the stories of the poems into one story about a grandfather who, after being alone for a long time, set out to find his "two". He found his happiness on the shore of the lagoon, where they both stayed. And when you live on the shore of the lagoon, sooner or later you try to take a rod or a net and catch some fish! But this grandfather was not fishing for fish at all, but the most unexpected stories... And those stories will be told and sung by the actors themselves.
Paying attention to the peculiarities of children's development, the creators of "Vejju Teatro" pay special attention to music and children's musical education, so the performance includes songs of various styles and rhythms, the performance of which often involves the audience. During the whole performance you can dance, move or clap to the rhythm, and after the performance the actors invite you to try the instruments used in the performance. Fun rhyming, easy-to-remember texts will accompany children at home as well, and the Wind Theater's musical record "Mažos dainos mažiem" (Mažos dainos mažiems) can help them remember, which contains all the songs played in the performance.
