The play "Flying Travolta" takes you to a small village, forgotten by everyone, whose inhabitants are boringly pushing each other through similar days. All of them feel that no one needs them, and because of this, each of them is unhappy in their own way. In the center of the story is a young guy named Travolta, whom everyone in the village calls "hit" because of his closed manner and strange habits. Travolta seems to be meekly resigned to his fate, but inside he is hiding a huge family secret...
Among other oddities, Travolta has an incomprehensible, dangerous and apparently completely pointless "hobby" - jumping out of nowhere in front of a car passing through the village. One day, this seemingly absurdly stupid "hobby" gets the attention of journalists and suddenly the "stupid" Travolta becomes a world-famous celebrity. Until then, having made no effort to change anything and blaming the wrong place for all their failures, the villagers are forced to accept the truth - life does not happen outside, it happens inside each person. Life is not something abstract and untouchable. It is happening within us every precious second, and only we ourselves, and not the environment, are the true creators of our lives. But the play reminds us that there will always be those who will find it more convenient to get rid of Travolta than to admit that there is no such place as "nowhere" where life flows by without stopping and touching nothing.
Under the rough and comic surface of the play is hidden a sensitive tragedy of love and guilt, a painful, though hopeful drama of human feelings. The show "Flying Travolta" is for those who miss beautiful and sensitive stories about people, making choices that connect and separate, about sin and the price of its redemption, about love and its impossibility, about the longing for happiness and efforts to overcome fate.
