Throughout this jubilee year, the Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theater hosted a series of intergenerational conversations "Big Conversations", where recognized art masters and emerging young artists met. As we end this year and move on to the next year, we continue the series "Big Talks", but in a slightly different way. From now on, we will see and hear more generations of artists on one stage, the Teacher and his students will talk.December 13 6 p.m. One of the most famous Lithuanian opera soloists, professor of the LMTA singing department Irena Milkevičiūtė and her students - famous singers Joana Gedmintaitė, Simona Liamo and currently studying young singers Skirmantė Vaičiūtė, Nojus Žalys and Mindaugas Tomas Miškinis will meet in the LMTA Great Hall. The conversation will be moderated by musicologist Jūratė Katinaitė.The cycle of "Big Talks" will continue in 2024 together with personalities significant to Lithuanian and world culture."As we live today and prepare for tomorrow, we cannot forget the lessons of the past. To stop, to remember together, to dream, to talk, to discuss - these are prerequisites for assessing where we are and creating a perspective for the future.
