Like the fierce whirlpool of the Bermuda Triangle, this chilling tale will immediately draw you into its swirling flow. The enthusiastic Scientist-Professor gets involved in extreme research with alcohol. Day after day in the laboratory, he will study the effects of this twisted beverage and try to counteract its effects by boldly experimenting with the characters. The director of the comedy, Ričardas Vitkaitis, assures that the work will not aim to moralise or snarl, but will take the path of light-hearted humour to perception. I guarantee that "The Treacherous Solution" will evoke such a peak of emotions in the viewer that even the creeps will go away."

Andrius BIALOBŽESKIS
- What was going on in your mind when you saw the script of the "Treacherous solution"?
- My first thought was that it would be very interesting: an interesting, little-studied topic presented in a very playful way. It is very important to talk about it, given the telling statistics in Lithuania, which claim that it has almost the highest alcohol consumption in the world. I think the topic is relevant for Lithuania, it is ripe.
- Does the team of actors you work with have a role to play?
- Undoubtedly, theatre is a collective art, and you can't create anything alone. I have to admit that we have had some very pleasant creative discoveries together. I'm very happy about that.
Džiugas SIAURUSAITIS
- How do you imagine the audience of "The Treacherous Solution"? People with life experience - those who have already experienced the situations in the comedy - will understand it more. I don't think that absolute teetotalers will understand the play, because they didn't become teetotalers for nothing, but for a reason.
- Please add if there are any left unadded.
- Comedy is comedy. The situations played out here are recognisable to many (after all, one of the main criteria for humour is recognisability). People should find it funny because they will be able to identify with some of these characters, to see a part of themselves.
Lina RASTOKAITĖ
- What was the first thought that came to mind when you read the script?
- There seems to be so many different funny, cool stories and so many embarrassing, depressing stories of drunkenness. It's a terribly ambiguous subject.
- Is this play relevant to people today?
- The subject of alcohol has been relevant for centuries, as long as there are people on the earth who consume alcohol, it won't be a topic that loses its appeal. As long as there is sin in the world, there will be unhappy people.
Darius RAKAUSKAS
- Is the theme of this play very relevant to the Lithuanian audience? How much alcohol do we drink? We're probably one of the top five in Europe, so "The Cunning Tyrapal" is very relevant.
Eglė MIKULIONYTĖ
- How long will the comedy "The Treacherous Solution" live?
- It has to, because it's light, warm and human for everyone - thanks to the director, so from the first moments you identify with the character Porfessor and you are immersed in the experimental journey of the insidious solution and the characters of the group...
