For lovers of traditional American jazz - a tribute to Wes Montgomery - a project that will take you back in time to the atmosphere of the post-war jazz clubs of America. Born 101 years ago, he became popular in the post-war years for his unusual playing technique. He was soon one of the most popular guitarists of the post bop era, and his influences extend to jazz and non-jazz guitarists today.

He is credited as an inspiration by artists such as Pat Martino, George Benson, Russell Malone, Emily Remler, Kenny Burrell, Pat Metheny, Steve Howe and Jimi Hendrix.

This evening is dedicated to the music of Wes Montgomery, performed by the active young generation of guitarist Deimantas Balys (Castor Stetson) and his trio, and the trio will be joined by Pavel Arakelian, a saxophonist of Armenian origin, who is rapidly gaining in popularity in Lithuania.
