On Thursday 16 May at 20:00, the European Parliament will host a meeting of the European Parliament's Committee for the Protection of Human Rights and Fundamental Freedoms. The KKC will be filled with echoes, guitar jangle, electronic sounds and deep repetitive rhythms.

✺ DYNASONIC is a three-piece dubwave ensemble whose unique sound fuses bass dub with modern electronics and field recordings to create a hypnotic and mesmerising experience. The natural repetitiveness of their music is reminiscent of the rolling waves, but its experimental electronica elements remind us that these are not calm waters we're sailing through.

In 2023, the band released their third album, Dynasonic. Again produced by American master engineer The Norman Conquest, this album marks the first time the band recorded without guest musicians. On this record we hear the influence of raw Berlin dub techno, as well as the thick and smoky atmosphere of the western Polish border.

This is the heaviest and most genre-defying album in Dynasonic's history. It's not the kind of calm dub that lulls you into a tranquil state, but one that gurgles dangerously and threatens impending disaster. Tectonic waves collide beneath the surface and huge forces gather, creating tension and anxiety.

✺ Brokenchord is an experimental three-piece rock project. One of the band members, Ernest, has released albums on the Bristol-based Black Acre record label, and is responsible for official remixes for artists such as Radiohead and Twilight Sad.

Together with the band, the trio have formed a unified creative collective that has reworked Ernest's solo work into a live show based on krautrock melodies, electronic sounds, noisy guitars and endless sound structures that alternate between club beats and walls of sound.

✺ For the finale of a scintillating evening, deep rhythms and psychedelic twists emanating from Luke Feser. Lukas, who recently moved to the capital from Klaipėda, has been behind the decks for more than a decade and always delivers a mosaic of intoxicating sounds. Unfettered by genres and styles, Lukas is also brewing, conjuring and creating his own music.
