Let's start a new season of concerts!

On 25 May, two alternative rock bands worthy of each other, Abii and diso.kognityvas, will share the same stage at the Lukiškės Prison courtyard.


The walls of Lukiškės Prison have never seen such a selection of two bands before. "diso.kognityvas already has a prison scalp and a record in its biography. This will be the first time for Abii in Lukiškės prison.
The opportunity is big and important.

Abii

"Abii" is a growing alternative rock band from the Lithuanian seaside.

They made a name for themselves in the young bands competition "Garažas", where they surprisingly won the first place. This win gave them the opportunity to record their debut album "Vinegar" soon. This album was well received and helped the band to quickly build an audience.

A year ago, after a few years of hiatus, Abii returned with their second album "Metanoiia", where their mystical and assured sound attracted a lot of attention from rock listeners. The band is happy to be back on the Lithuanian rock scene and does not promise to stop, they are currently working on their third album, the sounds of which will be heard in the courtyard of the Lukiškės prison.

The first single "Abnorma" is already gathering plays on the internet and music listening platforms.

diso.kognityvas

"diso.kognityvas" is an alternative rock band from Mažeikiai and they are quickly taking Lithuanian music scene by storm. It is unclear whether they are singing poets, indie rockers or a complete alternative. I guess we find a bit of everything here. The final result is a very sincere, dramatic and emotional slow, sometimes heavy guitar music, which is certainly not alien to subtle experiments or minimal avant-garde touches. The vocal line is also worthy of special mention.

This is music that is balanced for both personal candlelight listening and massive festival stages. Last year's album "Dissonance" was released to great acclaim, with hits such as "Fetish" and ""Violet Drops".

This season, diso.cognityvas is embarking on a new phase and plans to release a new album this summer. We will be the first to hear songs from the new album.

It is one of the real pride of Vilnius, attracting not only the citizens of the city, but also foreign visitors and other tourists. It is impossible not to feel the "drive" of the new version of Lukiškės Prison. And those who have been there say it is something.
