This exhibition is a kind of portfolio of A. Kirvelytė's years of studies. It showcases what is kept in the collection of the VAA Museum. Although fragmentary, it is possible to trace the artist's progression from her first year to the end of her final studies - her MA. Specially and deliberately, as if prepared with an anthropological and cultural scalpel, some of the studio/creative kitchen is also opened up - some of the works were painted on two sides of the canvas. In this movement, there is a certain statement of the situation of the past (and also of the present). Behind the restrainedly gloomy facade there are expressive and vivid structures. It's like a rebus or an enigma... It should also be noted that in the former Soviet printing house "Pravda", on its second floor (where the Department of Fashion Design is now located), from 1998 to 2000, A. Kirvelytė had her own slightly "squat" studio, and in 2014, already in the VDA's exhibition halls "Titanikas", she held her exhibition "Davaite liubit drug druga. This exhibition is not only a retrospective episode, but also a kind of anniversary.
