Event description
Despite the small number of Roma, Roma remain one of the most vulnerable groups in Lithuania in terms of public attitudes. They face systemic, long-term discrimination and social exclusion. While there are cases where the theme of Roma and/or the tabor has been presented in cultural contexts, this project stands out in that the role of the main narrator is handed over to representatives of the Roma community, as the co-creators of the exhibition are young women from the Roma community. It is an opportunity for them to represent their own community and thus to engage in public and cultural life. The exhibition will be open at the Vilnius Museum (Vokiečių g. 6, Vilnius) until 29 June.
