In the late 1950s, Amilia arrives in a flooded Lithuanian seaside village with a traveling cinema. She is immediately smitten by Anicetas, a surveyor, and Zigmas, a mechanic. Although Anicetas has already made a commitment to Prana, the hot blood and the feelings that have just been stirred up do their work, and the offended Prana tries to be bitter. Anicetas marries Amilia, but she soon leaves with the cheerful Zigmas to face an uncertain future, spurred on by inner impulses that are hard to understand... The film is in Lithuanian.
