There Are No Gods in the Garden is a slow-paced stage action that does not feature the typical plot development, sharp drama, or the aim to keep the audience's attention by dictating a fast-paced and continuously intriguing rhythm. The atmosphere of this stage action is reminiscent of the old adage: "you can look long at running water, a burning fire and a working man".
The main character of the stage action is a middle-aged woman who is in the employment service because the market is not in demand for heavenly gardeners. As a result, she doesn't feel embarrassed, she doesn't beg for someone to sort things out for her, she doesn't blame others, she just gives herself to the cultivation of the heavenly garden.
"There are no gods in the garden" is a process in which the audience has the opportunity to observe one actress creating and experiencing the cultivation of a garden. In real time, under real circumstances, the actress grows a 3.5 m high and wide celestial garden in an empty space as a concept of a perfect, purified world. In pursuit of a goal that is often incomprehensible to many, the actress immerses herself in asceticism, meditation, solitude, and surrenders herself completely to her ambition: to grow a garden where the tragedy of Eve and Adam never happened and where anyone can step into.
The duration of the stage action is 1 hour 30 minutes (may be shorter)
After the stage action, the audience can go to the action area, touch, twist the structure, lie down underneath it, but with care, protecting the object and themselves.
The structure can be photographed and publicized if you tag @Apeirono Teatras
