Internationally acclaimed bandoneon virtuoso ARIEL RAMIREZ (Argentina), arranger, choreographer and dancer, judge of the World Tango Championships, and director of the Tango Orchestra, is returning to the Lithuanian stage with a new project, Piazzolla & Tango. This is an exceptional line-up of professional, internationally acclaimed, talented performers with virtuosity and stylistic diversity.
The combination of the characteristic instrument of tango music, the bandoneon and other tango instruments, together with the virtuosity of the performers, creates a unique, distinctive and authentic sound of tango music.
The programme will take you back to the world of Buenos Aires in the 1940s, the most beautiful golden age of authentic tango, with Astor Piazzolla, the world's classics of Argentine tango, and the breath-taking performances of dancers.
Dancers from EL TANGO CLUB Espacio Cultural will present compositions by Argentinian choreographers DABEL ZANABRIA and ARIEL RAMIREZ, specially prepared for this programme.
