Arklio Galia x Skafandras - Lukiškių kalėjimas 2.0

Let's start a new season of concerts!

On June 12th, in the yard of the Lukiškių Prison, Skafandras and Arklio Galia, two quite different but common members of the underground music world in Vilnius, will play a showdown of two very different bands. It is going to be an eclectic evening of niche rock that cleanses all the innermost recesses of the soul.

"Arklio Galia" knows the Lukiškės prison complex well, has a prison scalp and a record in its biography. This will be the first time for Skafandras in Lukiškės Prison.
The opportunity is big and important.

Skafandras

It is a truth known to few: Skafandras is the only compost rock band in Lithuania that has released two albums. After debuting in 2022 with the anaerobic "the shra i & & ii" , the band didn't stop at just one composting medium, and later this year they released the oxygen-rich album "Ash".

When asked about the upcoming concert, the band members are excited about the opportunity to fertilise the soil of the new version of the Lukiškės prison together with their colleagues the Horses and invite all people who are interested in nurturing the harvest to come along.

Arklio Galia

In the meantime, the so-called "Arklio Galia" is a rock band, formed in Vilnius more than 18 years ago, that never shuts up, and is a pain in the neck for anyone in their right mind. The band doesn't shy away from mixing absurd, unappetizing musical cocktails, flavouring them with probably the worst possible lyrics, overlong guitar solos and a lot of bad jokes between songs. This will be the fifth time that the ensemble will be performing in Lukiškės Prison, and once again the audience will be treated to both fresh and much fresher and more jaded music.

The stage of Lukiskes prison is the coolest in the Baltics and no one will argue with that. It cares about music and culture. The conversion of Lukiskis Prison immediately became a piece of history, a cultural phenomenon and the most successful tourist attraction in Lithuania. It is one of the real pride of Vilnius, attracting not only the citizens of the city, but also foreign visitors and other tourists. It is impossible not to feel the "drive" of the new version of Lukiškės Prison. And those who have been there say it is something.
