The author explores his innermost world and tries to grasp the images he sees there - the visions that emerge from the myths that lie within. Myths come from the imagination. The mythological images that are available, through which the conscious mind communicates with the subconscious, intertwine with personal dreams, and create a transcendent relationship with the present. Mythical beings merge with the mystical. Bright, dense colours, deeply immersing the observers' gaze, and gestural painting with expressive brushstrokes create a peculiarly strange, artistic and at the same time intriguing reality, where there are no restrictive rules. The predominantly mythical creatures, phantasmagorical, anthropomorphic characters, who come from dreams, pierce the veil of mystery and invite the viewer to look into the mysteries they create. The creatures radiate a unique energy that captures the viewer's gaze and beckons him/her to explore every detail, but it is important not to be afraid of them, because sometimes they are deceitful, and sometimes they are macabre. It's just a game without rules, it's important to have a sense of humour. The exhibition will be open at Vilnius Town Hall (Didžioji g. 31) until 1 March.
