This is the first repertory performance of Kaunas Dance Theater "Aura" for children. The characters of the show will go on a trip through four continents of the world together with the children. Here they will see dances of different nations, hear songs sung in childhood and follow fairy tales in the original language. Everyone will be able to play children's games that appear to be the same everywhere. This idea was dictated by the international composition of the troupe, which currently includes artists from all over the world. The creators of the show send a message to the audience, saying that regardless of the color of your skin, eyes, hair, what language you speak, which part of the world you live in - I, like you, listened to my mother's fairy tales, sang children's songs, played the same games as a child games and I want to be friends just like you.Usually, small children explore both the world and art not at a distance, but by moving, touching everything, experiencing it directly, so the performance alternates choreographic scenes with interactive games, involving children in playful activities, allowing them to be not only observers of the action, but also active participants in it.The show is created by actress, dancer, director Ieva Jackevičiūtė, who started the path of contemporary dance a dozen years ago in the "Auras" theater. As the creator herself says, the meeting with the theater director Biruta Letukaita and the time in this theater was the most vivid creative impulse that opened up the possibilities of different art and its expression. This laid the foundations for all further creative pursuits. Ieva is raising three children herself, which is what led her to create for the smallest ones. The creator directs performances, conducts education for preschool children and explores this topic in doctoral studies in the arts.A pair of theater dancers joins the team for the first time to create a dance for children. Marine Fernandez, who came from France six years ago, and Heung Won Lee, a dancer from South Korea who is creating his third season in Kaunas.
