On a sunny summer weekend, Shakespearean tragedy moved to a family camp in the woods, and a drama with comedy elements "took hold". How and when did the feud between the two families start? Who is Juliet and which of the boys will play Romeo? What kind of play is everyone looking forward to and rehearsing for? Why is it necessary to call an ambulance and the police? Will the play happen and how will it end? The cast of Kaunas State Puppet Theatre will perform and even play a version of William Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet in an open theatre format, which, it turns out, is possible in our time. There will be different styles and unexpected solutions on every stage. The Puppet Theatre's I am Romeo, you are Juliet welcomes young people to spend an hour and a half in a play that is recognisable but boldly transformed, where laughter is replaced by tears, tears by song, and many things become more familiar, more comprehensible and more topical. "I am Romeo, you are Juliet invites you to come and fall in love!
