Part 1: Austėja Marija Kimbartaitė's trio
Austėja Marija Kimbartaitė - composer, pedagogue, actively performs as a jazz vocalist and as a pianist and conductor of the Lithuanian Youth Jazz Orchestra. With the latter group, he managed to visit the major Lithuanian jazz music festivals. Austėja obtained a bachelor's degree in performing arts - jazz vocals at the VMU Music Academy and simultaneously studied jazz piano and composition at the "Jazz Academy" in Kaunas. She is currently studying composition (academic creativity) at the Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theater. Austėjas Marija's compositions were performed in various competitions, Lithuanian jazz and contemporary music festivals. As a performer, she avoids musical "frames", self-expression is important to her, and Austėja looks at the music process itself philosophically - through a free interpretation of music.
Mindaugas Lisauskas is a promising young generation pianist and saxophonist who likes to experiment and is not limited to specific musical aesthetics. Mindaugas plays in the VU brass band "Oktava", the Lithuanian Youth Jazz Orchestra and actively performs with many young musicians in groups such as "Dargana", "Vilnius Funk Collective". Mindaugas has already managed to appear at the "Šiauliai Jazz" festival and "Loftas Fest".
Karina Ruseckaitė is an energetic vocalist, plays the double bass, is not afraid to experiment and make mistakes. Often performs traditional and gypsy jazz, but at the same time likes to deviate from various norms and rules. She spent a considerable amount of time with the "Jazz Academy" community, studied at the VMU Music Academy, accumulated various experiences, thanks to which she recognized and refined her own rules, norms and values.
Part 2: Tom Razmaus Trio
Tomas Razmus (saxophones) is one of the most interesting performers of improvisational and jazz music in Lithuania, who has played with Bob Mintzer, Michael Moore, Vladimir Chekasin, Liud Mockūnas, Petar Vyšniauskas, Lasse Lindgren and others. His discography consists of 4 albums. Tomas taught at VDU Music Academy, AGATA master courses. He is also one of the founders of the trio "Ažuolinii Berželiai", a member of the collective "Nimbus". Tomas Razmus performed in Latvia, Estonia, Norway, Finland, Sweden, Poland, Germany, Italy, Ukraine, Russia, Italy, France, etc.
Eugenijus Kanevičius (double bass) is one of the most versatile Lithuanian jazz bassists, masterfully performing music of a wide stylistic range - from radical free to melodic mainstream. The inventive musician, who equally perfectly controls both acoustic and electric bass, adds to his timbral palette with electronic accessories, guitar, trumpet, percussion instruments and voice. His playing is distinguished by harmonic and polyphonic thinking, and his work leans towards a unique philosophy of music, which is especially evident in his sacred jazz projects. During 20 years on the jazz scene, Eugenijus Kanevičius played with almost all Lithuanian jazz creators, he also plays music with jazz music performers from other countries. The bassist also plays solo, composes songs, music for children, theater and cinema.
Arno Mikalkėnas (percussion) is active in jazz, composition, improvisational and electroacoustic music. He is a creator attentive to sound, striving to go beyond any musical framework and looking for a unique relationship with music. A. Mikalkėnas' dowry of musical experiences is particularly abundant. Not only classical and jazz music studies, but also echoes of musique concrète, rock, metal and other genres.
