"I devote all the crumbs of time from my various activities to painting. The crumbs of the last five years have come together in the exhibition "Processes". In everyday life, you don't notice how the years go by. And when you do, you realise that you have been on an active, independent painting path for ten years. It may be a short time, but it's a time of spirals that always bring you back to the beginning, or overlap. These are painterly processes. They are the recurring themes of the paintings, or unintentionally overlapping each other, in appropriate stages. Only with conceptual nuances, nuances that are relevant at the time, new characters, characters. The themes of the paintings are always loneliness, madness, death, existential problems, mistakes of historical experiences, etc. Only from the perspective of the day." (Benas Alejūnas)
