Event description
Cold, grey concrete, and exactly the same sky, where sometimes, just sometimes, we saw the sun. Many of us wandered the streets, not wanting to go home, even after dark. Wandering among the concrete houses, where every corner is its own, every face is familiar, already so painfully seen and tired.
Music in the evenings that you won't hear anywhere else in the world - and if you do, you'll think back to those warm summer evenings. This street culture with its own rules, its own games, where day after day we scatter not only things but also pieces of ourselves. And now that we have grown up walking the exact same streets of the neighbourhood, we can pick them back up. What do each of us carry with us, day by day, and sometimes, little by little, lose?
The spaces will feature music and recordings that will be heard from the buildings on the street, so that they can embody their own stories. Perhaps each of them is hiding a secret and knows where the thing everyone is looking for might be? Maybe it's the sculpture of a swan in the courtyard, the metal pipes or the falling fruit from the shopping bags that will speak and tell them where to go next. All you have to do is climb the staircase and go up.
