"C U R E" is a series of transformative performances created in the context of Jena Jang's PhD thesis "Contemporary Art of Healing" and performed at the John Evangelist Purkinje University in Usti nad Labem, Czech Republic. The project is inspired by Korean shamanic rituals and explores the dynamic energy exchange between humans and non-human beings through electroacoustic soundscapes, field recordings, somatic dance, object theatre and sound-responsive visualisations. Weaving ritual elements with contemporary artistic expression, C U R E serves as a channel for contemplating the deep interconnections and healing potential inherent in the interaction between consciousness and the natural world.
