Carl Sentance, who was born in the UK, formed his first band, Leading Star, in 1977. He soon replaced lead singer John Deverill in Persian Risk, with whom he released his first album Rise Up in 1986. The talented vocalist did not go unnoticed and was offered to join Black Sabbath bassist Geezer's solo project, a collaboration that lasted from 1986 to 1988, when Carl left the Geezer Butler Band to join Monroe.
In 1990 he decided to move to Florida (USA), where he formed the band Ghost with former UFO and Wasted guitarist Paul Chapman. Between 1999 and 2002, Carl Sentance returned to Europe and became the lead singer of the Swiss hard rock icon Krokus, and recorded the album Round 13 with them. In 2006 he was invited and soon joined Deep Purple keyboardist Don Airey's solo project Don Airey and Friends, where he became a creative partner and recorded 5 albums together so far.

In 2009, Carl Sentance finally recorded his first solo album "Mind Doctor". In parallel, he tried to re-establish Persian Risk, but the original members were busy with other projects, so a different line-up was chosen and two excellent albums were released - Once A King (2012) and Who Am I (2014).
Not surprisingly, such a vocalist's productivity and creative potential has not gone unnoticed: in 2015, when the health of the famous vocalist Dan McCafferty declined, Carl Sentance succeeded him as the new frontman of the legendary rock band Nazareth. They have recorded two studio albums together, Tattooed On My Brain (2018) and Surviving The Law (2022). Currently, Carl is touring around the world with Nazareth and has performed in Lithuania on several occasions, but this will be the first time he will present his solo work in our country.

Pandemic 2021 saw Carl Sentance release his second solo album Electric Eye, and his latest studio effort Silent Angels is expected to be released in late 2024. So during the upcoming concerts in Vilnius and Kaunas, audiences will not only be able to hear their favourite Nazareth songs or other rock classics, but also be among the first to enjoy the vocalist's latest solo work live.
