Singphonics, a contemporary jazz and popular music choir now in its seventh year is performing in Kaunas for the first time this May!

The ensemble consists of 18 members, true music enthusiasts, who have gained their singing experience in classical and jazz choirs, music schools, music groups of various genres. The choir is led by Martynas Vilpišauskas, a talented jazz vocalist, arranger and music teacher, who graduated from the Guildhall School of Music and Drama in London.

Martynas' arrangements of Michael Jackson, Seal, Bee Gees, Stevie Wonder, Aretha Franklin and other world-class artists sound new and unexpected in the concerts.The Choir's repertoire is complemented by songs from jazz, gospel, folk, funkie and other genres. "Singphonics doesn't pigeonhole itself into a single style, it experiments boldly and actively participates in various musical projects.
