Let's start a new season of concerts!

On 7 June, two more great bands and Lithuanian alternative music will perform in the yard of the Lukiškių prison. The cool bands "dadcap" and "Local Blood" will share the prison's beautiful stage.

We're in for a light and dark dance of post-punk and alternative.

dadcap

"dadcap" is a quartet of nerds and prison residents who roam on the fringes of rock alternative. Reunited after splitting up with the band's singer, they have no intention of leaving the stage. The men will continue to serve up their fair share of quality rock.

"Our gigs are free therapy for those who don't attend," say the members of "dadcap". We couldn't agree more with the band members. Let's have more of that therapy.

At the height of the riots, earlier this year, the band released the single "slow" to hark back to the romantic 2000s and the reemergence of the new line-up.

If dadcap is new to you, it's high time to correct this mistake.

Local Blood

Local Blood is an alternative post-punk band from Vilnius. Just back from their first tour of Central Europe (the guys travelled to Poland, Czech Republic, Slovenia, Slovakia and Hungary), they invite you to their gig in the courtyard of Lukiskes Prison. "Local Blood is preparing a real post-punk feast and will serve both tracks from their latest album "Loverman" and some completely fresh and unheard songs. Twin angry sounds and sexy dancing will be an integral part of Blood's performance.

The stage of the Lukiskes prison is the coolest in the Baltics and no one will argue about that. It cares about music and culture. The conversion of Lukiskis Prison immediately became a piece of history, a cultural phenomenon and the most successful tourist attraction in Lithuania. It is one of the real pride of Vilnius, attracting not only the citizens of the city, but also foreign visitors and other tourists. It is impossible not to feel the "drive" of the new version of Lukiškės Prison. And those who have been there say it is something.
