Vilnius University (VU) choirs Virgo, Gaudeamus and Pro Musica (directed by Rasa Gelgotienė) are organising a major concert of choral music to mark the end of the season. The concert "For That Song" will take place on 18 May at 7 p.m. at St. The concert will take place at St. John's Church on August 18, 2018. The choirs will perform pieces from the upcoming 100th anniversary Song Festival, as well as choral classics from the newly prepared programmes. There will be movements from Karl Jenkins' A Mass for Peace, Piotr Janczak's works for girls' choir, Giuseppe Verdi's famous psalm Laudi alla Vergine Maria and movements from Anton Bruckner's Mass in F minor.
