M.K. Čiurlionis House is the fourth year of the music project "Dialogues with Čiurlionis", which initiates the involvement of foreign artists in the world of Lithuanian music, invites you to welcome spring with Ukrainian pianist Petras Bondaras, who will be entrusted with the opening of the 2024 season, On Thursday, 11 April at 6 pm, in the opening evening programme of the series, the artist will combine works from two different eras: he will perform the music of J. S. Bach and J. Haydn alongside two other contemporaries, C. Debussy and M. K.

Petro Bondaras studied at the National Academy of Music of Ukraine and at the Academy of Music of Vytautas Magnus University under the guidance of renowned pianists and teachers Yuriy Kot and Justas Dvarionas. He has toured as a soloist in Italy, Lithuania, Ukraine, Latvia and Belgium, and has developed his professional skills with such musicians as Hans Eijsackers, Andreas Frölich and Joanna Domanska.
