Energetic, full of great ideas and always youthful, the St. Christopher Chamber Orchestra invites you to the Grand Opening Concert of the season!
September 26, 7 pm. Join the top-class orchestra, the charismatic conductor Modestas Barkauskas and the vibraphone virtuoso, composer from distant Japan Mizuki Aita, on a musical journey together at St Catherine's Church on 19 September. Here you will be captivated by William Walton's Sonata for Strings. It is a gorgeous opus that requires extraordinary virtuosity, interplay and sensitivity, giving the orchestra the perfect opportunity to showcase its full potential.
The evening will be graced by a special performance of the International St.
The special prize winner of the International Christopher Composers' Competition, Mizuki Aita, will present his heart-rending compositions for vibraphone and string orchestra.
