Edmundas Jazgevičius was born on 11 June 1974 in Alių km, Utena district. He lives in Vilnius. He works as a carpenter-restorer at the National Museum of Lithuania. In his spare time, he carves at the Alių homestead. His works include household utensils and tools, furniture, interior fittings, decorative articles, whistles, wooden toys, etc. Participant of exhibitions since 2004. He has held solo exhibitions in Vilnius, Kaunas. Works exhibited at the Spring Exhibition of Folk Artists, Utena Museum of Regional History. Edmundas is a traditional craftsman of certified national heritage products, a promoter of the old toy-making craft, a participant of Kaziukas fairs. The Museum of Regional History of Utena (Utenio a. 3, Utena) will be open until 17 August.
