Tour + concert!

There is no place in Vilnius Old Town where you can't see at least one church! Their entire blocks and towers not only form the distinctive face of Vilnius, but have also shaped the character of the city. On this walk, we will explore the monasteries, the sacred spaces that are changing their face, undergoing transformation and opening up to the city with new stories.

We will start our walk on the Saviour's Hill, next to the graceful Missionary Church, which is rising up to the sky. We will visit the current convent of the Sisters of Mercy of Jesus, Bokšto Square, where the Sisters of Charity were based, and the Church of the Comforter, next to the former Augustinian monastery. On the way, at the Shrine of Mercy, we will take a look at the painting, copies of which are scattered in Catholic houses of worship all over the world.

• Date and time of the meeting: 31 July, 5:15 p.m.
• Meeting place: at the Missionary Church, 28, Subačiaus St., Vilnius.
• Duration: approx. 1 hour.

🎶 The tour will end at St Catherine's Church, where one of the most sought-after blues and boogie artists in the world will perform at the sacred space of the Christopher Festival that evening. For more information about the concert and a link to tickets, click here.
