Living in Green Hill Valley, Sonic the Hedgehog wants to prove that he has what it takes to become a true hero. His test comes when the villainous Dr. Robotnik (played by Jim Carrey) returns to Earth, this time with a new partner, Knuckles, in search of a powerful emerald that can destroy civilizations.
