Programme - J. Haydn, F. Delius, E. Grieg, C. Debussy, J. Strauss
May 17, 6 pm. Panevėžys Musical Theatre invites you to the opening concert "Voices of Spring" of the festival for the whole family "For Music and Childhood".
The opening concert of the festival will feature the most beautiful classical opuses performed by the Panevėžys Musical Theatre Orchestra, united by the theme of spring and youth. The concert will introduce the audience to musical instruments, the most famous works from the classical music repertoire, the stories of their composition and the most interesting facts from the composers' lives.
As the programme's creator, conductor E. E. Pehk, the concert is a great opportunity to get to know one of the most spectacular "instruments" - the orchestra, as well as the instruments performing solo or playing significant solo parts in the works - the cello, violin, clarinet, bassoon and others.
The concert will feature the Panevėžys Musical Theatre Orchestra and soloists Lukas Grinkas (bassoon), Agnė Ivanauskaitė (oboe), Ekaterina Rodionova (violin) and Julius Kletas Jonušas (cello).
For the second year the festival "For Music and Childhood" invites young listeners and their relatives to the magical and enchanting world of classical music, where peers from art and music schools from the whole Aukštaitija region will be waiting for them at the seven concerts of the festival to be held, together with professionals from the stage.
