Garbanotas - Lukiškių kalėjimas 2.0

We are now announcing the main concerts and events of the new season. Let's welcome the summer in a dreamy way! Garbanotas, the dreamlike psychedelic rockers, will be pulling guitars and drums on 30 May in the big courtyard of Lukiškės Prison.

To quote Garbanotas:
We can't say it any better than that!

"The sun keeps falling on one side of the world and rising again on the other, the celestial bodies are slowly travelling their eternal paths like the universe, and we are also turning from one end to the beginning of the other, and little by little we are coming back to summer. We want to welcome its return, to welcome the long sunny days and warm evenings, the clear skies and the blooming world. We want to play the strings and sing with our voices, swaying rhythmically to the good old bird track. Let's meet in Lukiškės to wave to spring and embrace summer."

"Curly" has fundamentally changed the modern Lithuanian music scene and has inspired many a young band. In a little more than a decade, the band has released six studio albums, held album launch concerts in major Lithuanian cities, and visited many foreign countries and festivals.

Always relaxed, loving and loved, the men of Garbanotas will do what they do best in the large courtyard of the Lukiškės Prison. The songs on Garbanotas' latest album are nine stories of how bodies meet, part, attract and push each other. "River", "Tave Visa", "Kūnų dangaus", "Tu tyra" and other rock anthems of the band "Curly" will definitely sound like a welcome to summer.

The stage of Lukiskiai prison is the coolest in the Baltics and no one will argue with that. It cares about music and culture. The conversion of Lukiskis Prison immediately became a piece of history, a cultural phenomenon and the most successful tourist attraction in Lithuania. It is one of the real pride of Vilnius, attracting not only the citizens of the city, but also foreign visitors and other tourists. It is impossible not to feel the "drive" of the new version of Lukiškės Prison. But those who have been there say it is something.
