Gastronomic journey by narrow-gauge train "Lithuanian Renaissance Cuisine Inspired by Italy" from Panevėžys narrow-gauge railway station to Anyksciai, with stops in Surdegis, Troškūnai and Anyksciai, and getting acquainted with the dishes from Italy brought by the Grand Duchess of Lithuania, Italian Grand Duchess Bona Sforza, adapted in a Lithuanian ethnovirtuary.

Passengers on the Panevėžys-Anykščiai-Panevėžys gastronomic journey are invited to taste exceptional dishes, desserts and drinks at the Raguvėlė, Surdegis, Troškūnai and Anykščiai stops of the Narrow Gauge Railway. Bona Sforza inspired us to experiment in cuisine, one of the areas where her influence in the Grand Duchy of Lithuania was particularly strong and transformative. Bona introduced the fork to the court, white flour to our daily diet, vegetables, olive oil and herbs to our tables.
