This is the final part of a trilogy by director Elmārs Senkovs. Shakespeare and Grimm are followed by The Greeks. The first two parts were about bloody battles, war and people going up against each other.
For the last part of the trilogy, the creative team has chosen Greek myths and through them depicts what is happening to us and around us. The play takes us to a place where the gods create people. They resist them and become heroes.
As Elmar himself says, "this is a sad theatrical poem about the world". The basis of this performance is movement and sound, which the actors create throughout the performance. The text is important but becomes secondary.
