Music award winners, stage and audience conquerors Baltic Balkan and guests from abroad are preparing a cocktail of lights, sounds and sights, which we will be whipping up together at the Loftas art factory.

Dress up/Dress: In the courtyards, where legendary violinist Jascha Heifetz, the son of a poor klezmer musician, was once born, and where fresh world music from the east was flowing in, the Baltic Balkan project has been launched, aiming to combine modern dance music rhythms with the diverse musical heritage of the region. This music and performance project draws inspiration from Yugoslavian punk rock, the many exciting bands seen at European festivals, and films that reveal the true spirit of the Balkans (and the Baltic States as well).
