The well-known Icelandic electronic music group "GusGus" will perform in the Botanic Garden of Kaunas VDU. The trio that performed here last year created such an unforgettable party that after the concert the audience chanted the group's name for half an hour and asked to repeat it again and again.

The beginning of a successful career can be called the year 1997 and their second studio album "Polydistortion", which was released by the powerful American publishing company "Warner Bros.". With good reviews, this work earned the Icelanders worldwide recognition. The artists who organize unpredictable live shows can be called professionals of musical eclecticism - masterfully mixing dance music with electronics, hip-hop with techno, funk with house, they constantly experiment and never stop boldly playing with sounds.
The composition of the group changed several times, but the careers of the former members also turned out happily. The greatest success was achieved by Emiliana Torrini, who performed a song in the movie "The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers" and performed with Sting, Moby, Dido and other famous artists. GusGus currently consists of three members: its two founders - composer and producer Biggi Veira and charismatic vocalist Daníel Ágúst, who won the title of the best pop singer in Iceland a few years ago. In 2021, Margrét Rán Magnúsdóttir, the vocalist of another Icelandic band Vök, joined GusGus, whom her witty colleagues call "the new member of the circus troupe".
