"Hands on press" is a printing house that has been operating in Kaunas for many years. It employs two printers, Gabrielė Gudaitytė and Inga Navickaitė, whose main focus is to celebrate analogue printing techniques and handmade work, and to create high quality and beautiful print products. Located in their headquarters right here in the neighbourhood of the Picture Gallery, on Donelaičio Street, they are always receiving curious visitors or peering through the windows of the crawl space, interested in the activities taking place inside. Since in this case it is much easier to show than to tell, Inga and Gabrielė have decided to open archival drawers that have not been opened for many years and present a very small but diverse part of their extensive archive of works at the Kaunas Picture Gallery.
