Event description

In the midsummer of 2024, on July 11, Stjepan Hauser, one of the most famous cellists in the world, will hold a concert together with a band and an orchestra in the Vilnius Mountain Park. The performance in Lithuania is part of the long-awaited "Rebel with a Cello" solo tour of the founder of the group "2Cellos", known as the "bad boy" of classical music.

Known to music lovers simply as HAUSER, Stjepan promises the audience an exceptional musical performance in which, like a firework, the exploding energy of the cellist will overlap with his lyrical, romantic side, the impression will be complemented by the corresponding video projection on the huge screen. In his concert program, the mischievous romantic also included the works that were heard in the virtual performances that earned him the love of fans - the extremely popular "Beach Party" and the dreamy "Alone Together".

Tickets for July 11 The HAUSER concert in Vilnius will be available on the Bilietai.lt website from 2023. November 30

Since that fateful moment, when he decided to break the established traditions of classical, pop and rock music and create a new musical experience, HAUSER has been performing in packed arenas. Michael Jackson's song "Smooth Criminal" became a springboard to the musician's popularity - his iconic performance turned Stjepan into an Internet sensation and not only won the hearts and minds of millions of fans, but also established HAUSER as one of the brightest instrumentalists of the 21st century in the world.

Perhaps the best word to describe HAUSER's playing style is electrifying: he uniquely combines the beauty and elegance of the cello with true rock energy. HAUSER's repertoire includes everything from Lady Gaga and Shakira to P. Tchaikovsky and D. Shostakovich, he is like a storm taking over the world - few other classically trained cellists can boast of having played on Elton John's concert tour.

As a member of 2Cellos, HAUSER performed all over the world, from the Royal Albert Hall in London and the Sydney Opera House to Madison Square Garden in New York, selling more than a million tickets to the group's shows. During Christmas 2021, the cello superstar had the honor of performing for Pope Francis, and he has also played for several US presidents, Queen Elizabeth II and then-Prince Charles (now King Charles III).

Innate musical flexibility has allowed HAUSER to successfully collaborate with music legends such as Andrea Bocelli, Red Hot Chili Peppers, George Michael and Aerosmith frontman Steven Tyler. However, HAUSER's series of performances on the YouTube platform "Alone Together" started during the pandemic - the amazing musical "postcards" of the cellist from his native Croatia captivated the audience and helped his first solo album "HAUSER - CLASSIC" climb to #1 on the Billboard list location.

HAUSER's success is not limited to millions of loyal followers on YouTube, Facebook and Instagram platforms and billions of listens and views on social networks. The charismatic virtuoso, distinguished by his refreshing magnetism, united generations of music lovers. It is not for nothing that HAUSER is often called a rock star with a cello.
