The Long Form Improvisation Club is for those who want to learn how to improvise freestyle and create improvised performances. The exercises in the classes will be freer and have fewer rules and restrictions than in the short format improvisation club. Since the only limitation in acting without restrictive rules is the imagination and capabilities of the performer, we will develop both improvisational and personal qualities.
The requirement to join is 24 hours of experience in theatrical improvisation.
We'll work on our improvisational acting muscles by performing two-person, group sketches, and improvised performances. You will be actor, director, and writer all in one.
In this club we will delve deeply into improvisation and develop the skills to work as a team, to listen carefully to each other, to take risks, and to develop ideas together with partners.
In long-form improvisation, plays are created without rules. The performers do not tell the audience the structures of the plays or the methods of performance. The performer and the team have to create their own challenges, overcome them and surprise the audience.
Maximum number of participants in the club is 12
