Songs by Sara Brightman
The world-famous singer Sara Brightman needs little introduction - her melodies are already legendary. These include the famous musical Phantom of the Opera, All I Ask of You, Think of Me, Time to Say Goodbye, Caruso, Adagio, Nella Fantasia and many others, which we start humming and singing along with the moment we hear them. The concert will feature some of Sara Braitman's most striking and famous works, and the music will take you far, far away... where everything is magical and extraordinary.
Sara Braitman has an exceptionally wide range of pitch and a high soprano timbre. No one in Lithuania has yet dared to sing all her songs, as it is quite a challenge for every performer. So this musical project is unheard of and completely new, and will not only feature Indrė Anankaite's lyrical soprano, but also the support of the wonderful performers - pianist Nijolė Baranauskaitė and cellist Tomas Ramančiūnas. The special, rich and low sound of the cello will envelope the songs with new melodies.
Indrė Anankaitė is actively involved in musical activities not only in Lithuania but also abroad. She sings opera, operetta, baroque, contemporary, musical and POP music. She is a member of the band Il Senso and the founder and performer of the musical project Tribute to Celine Dion. She participates in various TV projects and is a finalist in the Lithuanian National Eurovision selection.
Tomas Ramančiūnas is an artist of the Lithuanian National Philharmonic Symphony Orchestra and a member of the cello group. Laureate of national competitions. The musician often performs in various classical music projects, but he is not limited to that. He can often be found on the alternative scene, playing with many other non-classical musicians such as Jurga Šeduikytė, Alina Orlova, the band "Skylė", etc.
Nijolė Baranauskaitė is a highly acclaimed concertmaster of singers and instrumentalists, actively performing on Lithuanian and foreign stages. She also performs solo programmes and conducts masterclasses for pianists. She is a laureate of many international competitions and has been awarded several diplomas as the best accompanist of competitions.
