Jorge Luis Pacheco, one of the brightest Cuban jazz musicians of the new generation, will entertain the Kaunas Jazz Festival audience.
Pianist, composer, percussionist, and vocalist - this musician is a man of many talents. Inspired by American jazz, Cuban music, pop and soul, Jorge Luis Pacheco has performed at the world's most important jazz clubs, venues and festivals, from the Blue Note and New Orleans Jazz Festivals in the US, to Washington's Kennedy Center, to the Sziget Festival in Budapest.
The musician has won prizes at numerous major international competitions, including the legendary Montreux Festival in Switzerland, where he was named Best Pianist.
His collaborators on the concert stage and in the recording studio have included a whole constellation of jazz stars - Jorge Luis Pacheco has played with Dave Weckel, Wynton Marsalis, Bill Evans, Gonzalo Rubalcaba and many other world-renowned musicians.
