XVI/49 Andante and Variations in F minor, Hob. XVII/6 Pianist Petro Bondar invites you to immerse yourself in an inspiring musical journey with Joseph Haydn's piano masterpieces! The concert will feature some of Haydn's most exciting works, which reveal the composer's inventive and innovative creativity. The pianist will open the concert with the expressive Sonata in G minor, from the period of the "Sturm und Drang". The Fantasy in C major is a perfect example of Haydn's wit, full of anticipation and wonder. And the evening will conclude with the Andante and Variations in F minor, a work that reflects the depths of human emotion. P. BONDAR studied at the National Academy of Music of Ukraine and at the Academy of Music of Vytautas Magnus University under the guidance of renowned pianists and teachers Yuri Kot and Justas Dvarionas. As a soloist, he toured Italy, Lithuania, Ukraine, Latvia, Belgium, and developed his professional skills with such musicians as Hans Eijsackers, Andreas Frölich, and Joanna Domanska.
