An exhibition of paintings by Justina Adomavičienė will open at the Energy and Technical Museum on 8 February at 4 pm. Visitors will find an energy of colours, shapes and emotions that organically blend into the industrial space of the museum, says Karolis Gužas, the museum's curator of exhibitions.
As Karolis Gužas puts it, the artist's works, with their expressive compositions and deep reflection of the inner world, become a kind of counterpoint to, and at the same time a complement to, the story of technology.
"In this exhibition, art and engineering merge in an intriguing dialogue: mechanical structures and historical artefacts are given an additional perspective through a flow of painterly colours, while Justine's work reveals itself as a visual expression of energy and creative freedom. This exhibition invites the viewer to experience an unexpected connection between art and technology, where the past and the present meet in a dynamic creative field," says Gužas.
According to the artist Justina Adomaviečienė, the exhibition at the Museum of Energy and Technique is a personal journey through colours, textures and feelings.
"My works are born out of a combination of spontaneous movement, instinct, and inner expression. They intertwine natural rhythms, emotional states and abstract narratives, where each viewer can discover their own interpretations. I invite you not only to observe, but also to feel - to let the forms speak, to evoke emotions, to stir the imagination. Let this exhibition become not only a visual experience, but also an inner experience", - invites J. Adomavičienė.
Justina Adomavičienė is a painter. She holds a Master's degree in Visual Arts from the Lithuanian University of Educational Sciences and a Master's degree in Art Therapy from the Lithuanian Academy of Arts. Art critics describe Justina's work as decorative, "in the best sense of the word. They do not repel or shock, but pleasantly envelop you in the unknown. She uses drops and splashes that give the paintings an elegance and grace".
