August 25 Kastytis Kerbedis, one of the most popular Lithuanian singers, will hold his concert in the Botanic Garden of Vytautas the Great University in Kaunas. The performer of the hits "Dēl tavės galiu", "Pienių výnas", "Nakty" and many other well-known works is the first star in the "Vasara Kaune 2023" festival program, but soon other names will be revealed.

Andrius Mamontovas, Inga Jankauskaitė, Justė Arlauskaitė - Jazzu, "Ten Walls", "The Roop" have already participated in the "Vasara Kaune" festival held in the VDU Botanic Garden for the third year, Anželika Cholina's theater dance performance "Queen of Spades" was shown, French ethnic electronica performed innovators Deep Forest, extravaganzas GusGus and renowned British singer-songwriter James Arthur.

This year, the festival will take place on the last summer weekend, August 24-27, and will once again invite citizens and city guests to enjoy good music in an exclusive natural oasis in the center of Kaunas. The VDU Botanical Garden, which is celebrating its 100th anniversary this year, has long become a part not only of the temporary capital, but also of the entire country. Having maintained its identity and unchanging mission throughout the ages, VDU Botanic Garden celebrates its anniversary with the festive slogan "Like a hundred years ago - like today" and offers all concert guests to celebrate this beautiful anniversary together. Festival visitors are invited not only to immerse themselves in the enchanting world of music, but also to see the historical palace of the Aukštosii Freda manor, admire the unique plant collections of the Botanic Garden, and take a walk through the impressive alleys, where the old ponds are hiding romantically.
