Presentation of the performance sketch

"Kehakõne" is a performance like a warm embrace, an act of kindness. "At some point I realised that Kehakõne is like a big playhouse that I used to build out of blankets and sheets when I was a kid. This work has the same sense of security and limitless possibilities in space, and the first tools I play with are aerial acrobatics, ceremonies, storytelling, music, joy and sincerity," says Grete Gross about the performance.

  "Kehakõne" is Estonian for "body language" or "body discussion". Another possible meaning is "my dear body". And it starts with the lovely feeling I have for my body, holding it, feeling that this body holds so much - stories, memories, life. It seems crazy that so much can fit in one person. And that with so many bodies full of stories, we can fit so much in one room.
