The cycle of events "Paths Crossing in Kirtimates" dedicated to acoustic-guitar music that is unconventional, experimental, but retains intimacy and purity of sound is returning to KKC.

September 11, Edgars Rubenis (LV), Yam Ha (FI) and Algis Fediajevas will perform at 7pm on Saturday, November 11th, at KKC.

● Edgars Rubenis is a Latvian guitarist and composer from the context of experimental rock and new music composition. He first appeared on the underground music scene in 2000 as a member of the Riga experimental rock band Mona de Bo.
From 2020, Since switching to acoustic guitar in 2020, Rubenis' sound has been inspired by early blues and ragtime traditions, and his work has been heard on London's Resonance FM radio, in concert and at various festivals and tours in France, Sweden, Belgium, the Netherlands and the Baltic States.

● Yam Ha is a duo from Finland, consisting of Jussi Kivi (drums) and Juuso Paaso (guitar). The band's music transports listeners to the heat of the desert and the wastelands of Western civilisation, swaying like camels moving from one eye of the storm to another. Rhythms inspired by the musical traditions of the Saharan Tuareg are accompanied by the wit of underground rock and the sensitivity of free improvisation.

● Algis Fediajevas christens his music "acoustic psychedelics", and his listeners are usually drawn first to the innovative and original sound of the acoustic guitar, and its unpredictability: at times, the songs flow in a light, calm and meditative way, and after a minute they can turn into an aggressive, punkish outpour. At the same time, it is filled with autumnal melancholy, psychedelic fog and Eastern sounds. It's psychedelic music that doesn't shy away from dirt and doesn't try to sound sterile.
At the end of 2023 Algis released his fourth album, "After Three Years".
