Darius is interested in traditional music, with a particular interest in the East-Central European region, where Jewish traditional music - klezmer - is a large and integral part of the musical tradition.

During the evening, we will invite you to experience the history of klezmer music: we will listen to recordings of klezmer from different periods, from the earliest recorded performances to the current arrangements and expansions.

The evening will be complemented by live music. Darius will play several pieces from the Lithuanian-Belarusian repertoire of Litvak traditional music.
